Holiday Adopt-A-Family Program Sunday, Nov. 30th, 4 p.m. Target North Hills, Raleigh The UVA Club of the Triangle will once again be "adopting" a local family this holiday season to help some of our less fortunate neighbors in the area. If you’re interested in supporting this annual Triangle Hoos event, you can help a family in need by meeting up on Nov. 30th to shop for gifts at the Target in North Hills, or by contributing to the shopping fund via PayPal or check. The Target North Hills is located at 4191 The Circle at North Hills St, Raleigh, NC, 27609. We will meet out front at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30th, to shop for items for our holiday family. If you are unable to attend in person, you can still contribute by donating online via PayPal. Please choose a giving level and select the appropriate button: $10 donation: $25 donation: $50 donation: $100 donation: Contributions can also be send via checks should be made payable to UVA Club of the Triangle and sent to PO Box 12526 Durham NC 27709. President's Holiday Party (invitation only) Thursday, Dec. 4th, 6:30 p.m. Finley Forest, Chapel Hill To celebrate the holiday season, support our holiday Adopt-A-Family program and to thank all the members who supported the scholarship fund in 2008, the club President will host our annual President's Holiday Party. This invitation-only event will be held Thursday, Dec. 4th, at Finley Forest in Chapel Hill. An invitation will be sent to all current Jefferson Society and Rotunda Society members, as well as the board of directors. The club will provide of the appetizers and drinks, and we will also spend some time wrapping the gifts for our Adopt-a-Family program. For more information, contact membership@trianglehoos.org. |

Fall Food Drive The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina Through Dec. 31st Help the Triangle Hoos reach our goal of 500 POUNDS in food donations! The Triangle Hoos are sponsoring a food drive in conjunction with each club event lined up this fall. Please bring any non-perishable items (no glass!) you wish to donate to the events you attend. Not able to attend every event? You can still bring your items to the food bank closest to you or donate online in our virtual food drive. Just be sure to mention that your donation is being made on behalf of the UVA Club of the Triangle so we may keep track of our goal.
