Thirsty Thursdays! June 24 - The Federal, Durham July 22 - Rally Point Sports Grill, Cary August 26 - Boylan Bridge Brewpub, Raleigh The return of summertime means the return of our Thirsty Thursdays series! Wind down after a long week of work (or classes) and join your fellow Trianglehoos as we gather at some of the area's finest watering holes for refreshments and good cheer. Annual Student Send Off Picnic and
Scholarship Presentation Sunday, August 8th, 3 p.m. Lake Crabtree Park, Morrisville We wrap up the summer social season by holding our annual Student Send-Off Picnic to congratulate the local high school students who will be part of the incoming Class of 2014 at UVa this Fall. Meet the local Triangle students who are taking their first step in becoming Triangle Hoos!. The presentation of the annual scholarship award will be presented after the picnic. We have the Dogwood Shelter at Lake Crabtree Park all afternoon, and will be cooking out burgers and hot dogs. Drinks and desserts will be provided as well. Feel free to bring a side dish to share! Fall Networking Event: Inaugural Commonwealth Happy Hour! UVA and William & Mary Triangle Alumni Wednesday, Sept. 15th, 5:30 p.m. Brier Creek Country Club, Raleigh Kick off our Fall social schedule with the inaugural Commonwealth Happy Hour! In conjunction with the William & Mary Triangle Alumni, we will be holding a cocktail party and networking event at the Brier Creek County Club in Raleigh on Wednesday, Sept. 15th, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Refreshments and hors d'eouvres will be available.
